Rabbi Kulla

Talking about the pilgrimage to the Temple.  From the sukkot.  To the wells where they dunked in cold water.  To the steps with wide and narrow steps.  All to make you experience and concentrate.  And it was a mystery and they said "Oh My God" and they entered the gates of the southern wall. To offer a sacrifice. "Who am I that I may stand here."  The only way to feel that is to have clean hands. That you are moral and do good deeds. And somehow you made it to Jerusalem.  To these steps.  It did not just happen.  You must have a pure heart.  You have to be a decent human and then you can meditate and reach out for God.

And so here I am on the step of the Southern gate.
